Based in Frome Somerset this well known local design, manufacturing, engineering company specialises in installations within the quarrying / aggregates industry.

Responsible to:  Line Manager:  responsible for Project/Proposals.

The work involves a varied work load

Drawings would be up to proposal stage – concept drawings.

Drawings would be of customer requirements to do the business – waste aggregate equipment is their core business.

You could be working on a project from a couple of hours to a month –you will not be working on one thing at once

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•          Site surveying
•          Estimating/pricing quotations
•          Preparing sales drawings for quotations
•          Working in conjunction with drawing, production, costs and installation departments at all times
•          Liaising with customers/suppliers
•          Must have ability to communicate at all levels and with all departments
•          Various other duties as required by the nature of the position and Company

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  HNC – Mechanical Engineering

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:              Autodesk Inventor / AutoCad 2011

Holiday entitlement:      21 days and 8 statutory + 1 x Jubilee (2012) or pro rata of holiday year January to December (complete months)

Hours of work:  8.30am to 5.00pm – 1hr Lunch = 37 1/2hr week

Salary:                  Trade related package will be agreed

Sick Pay:               SSP

Probationary period:      3 months
