| I'm issuing you with as personal challenge!
I get fed up being told we are too expensive. British management needs to address their lowest cost mentality.
We have put together an article called "Skilled Recruitment brings rewards" which you will find here.
There are many examples where getting “the right people in the right place”(our strapline) is the secret to successful recruitment and any good manager should work backwards from the benefits not forward from the costs. |

Believe it or not I have yet to see an outsourcing project that would fail for £0.50 an hour if thorough analysis takes place.
I’m issuing you with a personal challenge.
Talk through your recruitment needs with me personally at no cost and let’s see if we can structure a winning offering. |

Was the recession a red herring or do PIGSUK? (Not a
typo)
OK, so what is really going on in the wider economy?
We are getting mixed messages from our clients. At the beginning of an economic up turn you’d expect an increase in packaging enquiries. Yes, this is happening buy it is mainly restocking rather than new projects.
Care sector demand is very buoyant but with a lot of froth as rates are a stumbling block. Manufacturing is quiet and construction a true curate’s egg. Engineering is slow. Facilities Management outsourcing is on hold.
We would welcome good news stories. Please tell us here

The PIGS (Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain) have deflected attention away from the UK and has caused the Euro weakening against the £, but the £ has more or less remained stable against the Euro creating PIGSUK. This is an excellent acronym for the state of our collective economies.
What it means in terms of labour mobility is that the UK is no less attractive than any other European country to work in and demand to come to the UK remains high as indicated by the available workers list below. |
