| UK – takes an Economic Bath?
What do we mean?
Our view is that whilst we might technically move out of recession in the next quarter we will be bobbing along the bottom of the economic curve for sometime giving us a bath shaped economic curve. Within this there will be winners and losers and to an extent we can chose our own destiny by recognising the factors we can influence and adapting where necessary and prudent to do so.

Exporting - the way forward?
| Yes, short term dips in line with world wide downturn but the dotted blue line shows the continuing upward trend that is set to continue.
Can you exploit this opportunity?
Why? Although the UK may be beginning to move out of technical recession the debt burden will take a generation to deal with and the £ that has already weakened 20% in the last 3 years will continue to decline against many currencies with stronger economic performance boosting export opportunities.
Many of you have seized on this opportunity already and here is a story of how we have worked with one client that has been a previous winner of the Queen’s award for exporting that is enjoying a record sales growth in 2009.
This client benefited from a promotional package from ourselves and we would be happy to discuss similar support to any other exporters please contact us here |

Is the UK facing a Skills shortage?
As labour slack is taken up we are already seeing international demand increasing for certain skills and here is an open letter from Skills Provision which discusses the issues and advocates the need for early planning rather than knee jerk reactions. The global village for labour is a reality. You are no longer competing against the company down the road but worldwide.

Will migration at earlier levels return?
Nobody knows?
We firmly believe that demand will return but whether the supply will be available is another matter. That will depend on the relative attractiveness of working in the UK which is largely driven by opportunities arising and the exchange rate prevailing at the time of requirement.
