Polish Workers
ABOUT POLISH WORKERS
The Worker Registration Scheme closed on 30 April 2011. This means that Polish nationals are no longer required to register and get permission before they work and now have the same rights as other EEA nationals so employing workers from Poland has never been easier.
Poland is situated in central Europe and currently has a population of over 35 million. History shows Polish people are hardworking, resourceful, reliable, tolerant and determined - for more information about Polish lifestyles visit this site.
We can help with all your Polish recruitment needs and have a long history of providing Polish workers to a variety of UK businesses.
SUPPORT
The UK has a great support network to help Polish workers settle and further information and support for both Polish nationals and employers is also available from the long established Anglo Polish Society which has a number of local branches.
SKILLED
Workers from Poland who intend to work in the UK are usually well educated and skilled – a joint survey by Bristol City Council and South Gloucestershire Council showed that over 73% of workers had completed a vocational college or university education. The system provides for traditional academic based qualifications but also apprentice skills and vocational college courses for trades people.
ENGLISH SPEAKERS
Students in Poland have to study at least one foreign language and Eurostat statistics show at least 76% of students at secondary level and above choose to study English. As part of our service we ensure that all Polish workers have at least the minimum communication skills to perform job roles.
TYPES OF WORK
Polish workers are both educated and hardworking and are available for most business sectors including:
- Engineering roles
